A detective has to do many things and has to adjust with deference circumstances in favor of his task.
A person can not be an all-known man. Most detectives tend to specialize in a particular area of crime for example, organized crime, homicide, fraud, or arson. In general, cases are awarded to individuals based on their special area of expertise.
ONE
A detective always be alert to follow or find out new one. Hours can be unpredictable and irregular--- he may frequently work weekends, holidays and nights. He may need spend long hours during investigations .His duties can be very dangerous and stressful.
TWO
The major tasks of a detective are gathering facts and collecting information and evidence on the topics he is spaying.
A. So he has to do a lot of works like taking interviews, examining records, monitoring the activities of suspects and, he then finally files a report what he find.

To get information, a detective has always to ready to attend the spot where he has to meet or follow or collect something. So he has a mindset to spend his time any location- it may be a village or city, jungle or desert, slum or high-rise building.
FOUR
While participant into an investigation, a spy has to carry out the following duties:
A. Examining the scene of crime to obtain clues and gather evidence,
B. taking interview or questioning witnesses or those who might be linked,
C. asking victims or beneficiaries,
D. research the atmosphere of incident,
E. Investigating particular facts of the case to identify the real clue,
F. scrutinize records such as telephone, bank, credit card, or computer records to establish guilt
FIVE
Being a disguised person and keeping hide own identity is main concern for a spy. The disclosure of the identity may put his life in a danger or may destroy the processing of spying.
SIX
Then, he has to write a report describing with the evidence how, or who was linked or what he finds out.
